Karachi Stock Exchange is the biggest and most liquid exchange in Pakistan. It was declared the “Best Performing Stock Market of the World for the year 2002”. As of May 30, 2008, 654 companies were listed with a market capitalization of Rs. 3,746.203 billion (US$ 56.334 billion) having listed capital of Rs. 705.873 billion (US$ 10.615 billion). London Stock Exchange
There's no trouble in this river city, not for the London Stock Exchange (LSE). As Europe's largest stock exchange (and one of the oldest), the LSE lists some 3,600 depository receipts, Eurobonds, and company shares. The LSE includes the main market, the Professional Securities Market (or PSM, listed debt securities), and the Alternative Investment Market (or AIM, which lists new and growing companies). The LSE is also a leader in international IPOs. Its 2007 merger with Borsa Italiana gave the exchange additional clearing and settlement operations and is part of its international expansion strategy that includes a cooperative agreement with the Tokyo Stock Exchange

(LSE) formed in 1760 as a club at Jonathan's Coffee House by 150 brokers who were kicked out of the Royal Exchange for rowdiness. The Stock Exchange name was adopted in 1773 and it became a regulated exchange in 1801. Following deregulation in 1986-the Big Bang-the LSE introduced computerized trading via the SEAQ (Stock Exchange Automatic Quotation) and SEAQ International systems that display share price information in brokers' offices throughout the United Kingdom. The LSE became a public limited company in 2000 and transferred its role as the U.K. Listing Authority to the Financial Services Authority
About the Bombay Stock Exchange
As the first stock exchange in India, the Bombay Stock Exchange is considered to have played a very important role in the development of the country's capital markets. The Bombay Stock Exchange is the largest of 22 exchanges in India, with over 6,000 listed companies. It is also the fifth largest exchange in the world, with market capitalization of $466 billion.

About the Toronto Stock Exchange
The Toronto Stock Exchange is the largest stock exchange in Canada, as well as the 7th largest in the world. The exchange lists 4,000 securities and trades an average of 250 million shares per day. The TSX lists companies from Canada, the U.S., and many other countries, and it has listings from a wide variety of industries. While the Toronto Stock Exchange was historically a floor-based exchange, it now operates electronically.
Irish Stock Exchange (ISE)
The Irish Stock Exchange or 'The Exchange' has a board of twelve directors. The directors divide the board into subcommittees to allow for concentrated efforts surrounding the governance, problems, and operations of the exchanges. There are eleven subcommittees consisting of admissions, appeals, audit, complaints adjudication, disciplinary, investment, listing, rules, senior appointments and remuneration, special products listing, and sponsor application. Each subcommittee team is responsible for handling operations that surround their topic.
OMX Stock Exchanges (OMX)
OMX Exchanges is the largest securities market in the Northern Europe seeking regional competitiveness through effective integration over national borders. It provides access to about 80% of the Nordic and Baltic securities markets.
